Hello! My name is Amber & I am an urban Indigenous woman with Cree and settler roots from Saskatoon SK. My community is Muskoday First Nation in Saskatchewan.
I am a registered Social Worker, with a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from First Nations University, as well as a Master of Social Work from University of Regina.
My focus of study was perinatal women’s mental health as well as supporting Indigenous women’s mental health and wellness.
I have recently moved to Edmonton and also work at MacEwan University as a Counsellor. My career focus has been both with the education sector and healthcare. I am experienced supporting patients through grief specifically those who have experienced pregnancy loss; as well I served on the Critical Incident Response Team in hospital to support staff through incident debriefing.
I like to spend my free time with my children or relaxing with a good cup of coffee. I look forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey!

I am a registered Certified Canadian Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and have an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care.
I can help support you in being able to sift through all of the stress and reduce feelings of anxiety and gain clarity.
It is through the development of trust in my counselling sessions that I am able to connect with my clients and identify their strengths.
